Fan control for Macbook Pro 13 inch 7.1 under Ubuntu 10.04

After following this guide, the devices of the computer will be almost totally working, except for some trackpad functions.

In order to control manually the fan speed just type at the terminal (it is only one line):


echo 3000 | sudo tee -a /sys/devices/platform/applesmc.768/fan1_min
